Dole & Kom Artist Bio

Dole & Kom met in Berlin’s Delirium record store, where both worked as vinyl dealers. Their complementary music tastes and evolving friendship quickly led to numerous DJ gigs at major clubs including Tresor, E-Werk, and WMF.

Producing under the moniker Clubheroes, their first single Dum Dum was released on Chicago’s prestigious Relief Records. Shortly after, they joined the artist roster of the legendary Formaldehyd Records.

Their own label, BCC Music, became the next step in their artistic career. Founded in 1996, it served as a creative launchpad for a massive output. One of their most notable projects from this period is Studio 45, with tracks released on Azuli, Nervous Records, and David Morales’ Definity Records. Their track Freak It even reached the UK Top 40.

With their unique and independent style, Dole & Kom perfectly embody the musical vision of Acker Records, releasing the EP Trompetenkrähe, including the club hit Quetschkommode!. In 2012, they became an integral part of the 3000° ensemble, performing at legendary events such as Wanderzirkus, Fusion, 3000°Festival, and SOS U.Ground. They also toured worldwide, playing in Hong Kong, Dubai, Turkey, Romania, and Mexico.

Their international releases include EPs on Voltage Musique Records, Bondage Music, Material, Formatik, and the worldwide club hit Phara - Oh on 3000° Records (over 22 million YouTube plays and 16 million Spotify streams). They are also recognized remixers, with highlights including reworks for Seth Schwarz, J. Patterson (Acker Records), and Acid Pauli & Monolink (3000Grad).

In 2019, Dole & Kom released their debut album Twenty Five on 3000Grad Records, followed by the EP Together Onetime via Bar25 Music, which stayed on the Beatport charts for six months and was featured in major Spotify playlists.

During the 2020 lockdown, they focused on studio work, leading to new EPs and remixes in 2021/22 on Bar25 Music, 3000 Grad Records, Sirin Music, Acker Records, Yion Music, and others. Phara-Oh continued to perform strongly, while Together Onetime received renewed support from top DJs like Solomun, Hot Since 82, Bedouin, YokoO, Acid Pauli, and Butch (who also contributed a remix), climbing back into the Beatport Top 50 and reaching 6 million Spotify streams.

In 2023, Dole & Kom launched their new label, Smoking Hot Records. In 2024, releases from the label were regularly featured in Spotify’s Electronic Rising playlist and received widespread DJ support. Another milestone was the double album collaboration with DJ Ravin for the renowned Buddha Bar Mix Series, alongside the single La Cantadora featuring Colombian singer Christina Escamilla on House Music With Love.
